About Camille

Camille Soltani Icely is the owner, designer, and artist of Sarah Camille Art.

At age 17 Camille was accepted into a modeling school, trained, and upon graduation, told she was 2 inches too short for runway modeling.

At 19 Camille began to struggle with an eating disorder that continued into her late 20’s and early 30’s. Recovery from this was a long process, but by the grace of God it was a beautiful transformation into a strong belief and foundation for the brand she now owns.

The past does not define us, but can be a tool to redefine the future. We can use our past, not to hold us back, but to rise up-  like the words of Ghandi, ‘Be the change we wish to see in the world.’

In her 20’s Camille used her paintings as a form of healing of past trauma, abuse, and mental health. This along with a strong rooted faith in God was key to her recovery in many ways, and still is today.

Camille sold paintings worldwide, and for 10 + years Sarah Camille Art was known for art and poetry, which is still the foundation of what it is today in the world of fashion.

In 2023 she began to incorporate her paintings as wearable works of art (jewelry, handbags, and fashion designs) to remind the customer that the true masterpiece is not she creates, but YOU. She reminds the wearer that we are all a work in progress, and just like we see in the artist’s pallet, the mess is always a part of the creation process of a masterpiece.

You are the Masterpiece.

Since 2023 her fashion brand has taken off to be on runways and invited to New York Fashion Week 2025, where she is bringing her own models to be the change she wishes to see - All sizes and shapes on the runway; because we are all beautifully and wonderfully made.

Comparison kills, and was a big hinderance for Camille in her late teens and 20’s as she battled a debilitating eating disorder that destroyed her mental health.

Now, as someone 'free of a cage I never thought I would get out of', with a place in the world of influence, Camille wants to be a light for others to kill the comparison that divides us, and celebrate the differences we hold that make us truly one of a kind.
