The winds of change appear again
On the horizon of another approaching season
I stand watching as a flower, fully in bloom
Knowing every bittersweet end has its reason

There is an overlooked beauty in change
In it’s the only thing that ever stays constant
So instead of holding on, I let go -
embracing its approach
Trusting in the pain required
To brings forth the next seasons growth

I feel the droop of my impending wilt
Surfacing from somewhere deep within
And from a place of surrender and faith, I trust
Knowing death must come to so I can bloom again

So I surrender to my creators breath
Resting in the unknown of what will be
Inhaling the earths exhale, I find balance once again
Abiding in the love that never leaves me.
