The Everlasting Way

This is something I felt God speaking to me while reading Matthew 3:2. This verse says:
Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand

The word for repentance in this verse is metanoeo (Me-ta-no-Ow)
This translates as To change ones mind

Repentance starts with the mind, which leads to sanctification, which happens within the heart.
The two are always connected
Where we set our minds, our hearts follow

This changing of the mind opens the doors for both healing and redemption over our lives

The Kingdom of God is in our midst. The word kingdom in this verse is actually plural - Kingdoms; Realms.

The Kingdom is already here, and as children of God we have access to it. The door is in our hearts, and the key is can be found in Christ Jesus. But to get to our hearts, we must live a life of repentance, not closing off our minds in a cage often disguised as religion, but to constantly allow God to reveal in our thoughts and beliefs what needs to change. Repentance.

Repentance is not hating yourself-
If anything its loving yourself where youre at by turning within and offering your heart to your Creator.

In Psalm 51 David writes: Create in me a clean heart oh God, and renew my Spirit within me.
and in Psalm 139 Search me O God and know my heart; Try me and know my thoughts; see if there be any wicked way within me, and lead me in the way everlasting

Jesus says in Matthew 5 Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God

The more we allow God to refine us, which is where repentance often takes us, the more we are purified to our true design;
The more we will live from the Kingdom of Heave on Earth, and see Gods gracious and loving hand in every moment.

He is not done with you yet.
 The best is yet to come.
